This is Duke. Duke is a 3 and a half year old lab/hound mix. He is our constant comedic relief; if he's not putting on a show for us, he is putting a smile on our hearts!
My husband and I always wondered how people could call their dogs their babies ~ now we know; he is our baby. When we bought Duke it was to gear us up for becoming parents ~ long story short, I wanted a child very badly, whereas he did not...
but, he wanted a puppy. To me a puppy was almost the same as having a baby, so if he could be dedicated to a pup, why shouldn't he want a child?
Suffice it to say, Duke is still the only baby in our house. Duke will most likely
be the only baby in the house...that is until we get our new puppy in a few months!
On a happy note, I thought that I should post some puppy pics ~ yes, I said puppy pic's! 8-)
Duke has always been a big, huge suck; we have loved every minute of it!
I thought that I would start off with this and return back soon! There is so much more to tell you about him ~ he is certainly one of a kind!
The first month or so, Crosby loved to sleep like this.....

I love the look on Duke's face...like he's laughing at the fact that Crosby thinks he can kick his butt! LOL!
